BS EN 10241 pipe fittings,EN 10241 ELBOW,TEE,BOSS,PLUG, BUSHING, UNION
BS EN 10241 pipe fittings are threaded steel pipe fittings designed for low-pressure and non-critical pressure piping systems. These fittings are widely used in water supply, gas distribution, fire protection, HVAC, and general industrial applications.
Manufactured in accordance with EN 10241, they ensure reliable thread accuracy, dimensional consistency, and good mechanical strength.
The product range includes elbows, tees, bosses, plugs, bushings, and unions, suitable for connecting threaded steel pipes in accordance with ISO and BSP thread standards.
C&N is a professional manufacturer of BS EN10241 Steel threaded pipe fittings
This European Standard specifies requirements for threaded fittings of nominal sizes from DN 6 to DN 150 inclusive, made out of welded or seamless steel tubes, forging and rolled bars. It is applicable to those threaded steel pipe fittings that are used in the transportation and distribution of liquid or gas
Steel pipe fittings BS EN 10241 are one of the most robust threaded fittings of their type available on the UK market and where our customer base is concerned they are primarily used on low-pressure steam systems. These 25 bar rated steel pipe fittings BS EN 10241 are ideal for steam systems running at 10 bar or less due to the strength and proven longevity of the product when fitted using red heavy tube BS EN 10255.
Our customer base for good reason have always been encouraged to use this type of fitting on process steam systems, the reason behind this thinking is the fact that despite good quality malleable iron fittings BS EN 10242 being rated for low-pressure steam systems
What Is EN 10241?
EN 10241 is a European standard that specifies the requirements for steel threaded pipe fittings used in piping systems.
It replaces the former BS 143 / BS 1256 standards and covers fittings manufactured by forging or machining.
EN 10241 defines:
-
Dimensional tolerances
-
Thread types
-
Mechanical properties
-
Surface finish
-
Marking and inspection requirements
European Standard EN 10241 specifies requirements for screw threaded fittings of nominal sizes from DN 6 to DN 150 inclusive, made out of welded steel or seamless steel tubes, forging and rolled bars. It is applicable to those screw threaded steel pipe fittings that are used in the transportation and distribution of liquid or gas
