Alloy 625,inconel 625,UNS N06625 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that is used for its high strength, high toughness and excellent corrosion resistance. The strength of alloy 625,UNS N06625 is derived from the stiffening effect of molybdenum and niobium on its nickel-chromium matrix. Although the alloy was developed for high temperature strength, its highly alloyed composition also provides a significant level of general corrosion resistance.

UNS N06625 products are furnished in two grades of different heat-treated conditions: Grade 1 (Annealed)—Material is normally employed in service temperatures up to 1100°F (593°C). Grade 2 (Solution Annealed)—Material is normally employed in service temperatures above 1100°F (593°C) when resistance to creep and rupture is required
