ASTM A671 is a standard specification for Electric-Fusion-Welded (EFW) steel pipe for atmospheric and lower temperatures
CC60: “CC60” is the grade designation within the ASTM A671 specification. In this case, “CC60” represents a carbon steel grade with a minimum yield strength same as ASTM A516 grade 60.
EFW.EFW stands for Electric-Fusion-Welded, which refers to the manufacturing process used to produce these pipes. EFW pipes are made by forming and welding flat steel plates into cylindrical shapes using electric fusion welding processes.
ASTM A671 CC60 EFW pipes are commonly used in various industries and applications where moderate strength and good weldability are required, and where the operating temperatures are relatively low.
