DIN 2510 24CrMo5 1.7258 Stud Bolt
DIN 2510 Bolting components and connections with expansion shank are suitable for use at elevated temperatures with high pressure and with optimum Charpy Notch Impact strength for cryogenic applications.
DIN 2510 bolts, also known as double-end studs with reduced shank and thread lengths, feature a unique design tailored for demanding applications. With threads on both ends and reduced shank and thread lengths compared to standard bolts, DIN 2510 bolts offer enhanced strength and stability in critical assemblies.

24CrMo5 / 1.7258
24CrMo5 steel under consideration is characterized by a high percentage of chromium and molybdenum, which predetermines the increased performance of heat resistance of parts made of these steels.

2) Instead of bolts and nuts of this steel, it is possible for a transitional period to use also bolts and nuts of steels 24 CrMoV 5 5 (material number 1.7733) and 21 CrMoV 5 11 (material number 1.8070) (see Explanations). In special cases, it is possible also to use steel 21 CrMoNiV 4 7 (material number 1.6981) instead of this material
3) For this alloy, in all cases the values given in the latest issue of DIN 17 742 apply.
4) Lower silicon contents may be agreed at the time of ordering, in which case any resulting changes in the guaranteed properties must be taken into account. |
