ASTM A182 F53 Weld Neck Flanges with TUV inspection dispatched to overseas client

High Quality of ASTM A182 F53 Weld Neck Flanges with TUV Inspection Successfully Dispatched to Overseas Client.

[Shanghai, China – Oct 2025] – We are pleased to announce the successful dispatch of a batch of ASTM A182 F53 Weld Neck Flanges to one of our esteemed overseas clients. These flanges have been thoroughly inspected and certified by TUV, ensuring compliance with international quality standards.

The flanges, manufactured in strict accordance with ASME B16.5,ASME B16.47 Series B and ASTM A182 F53 (UNS S32750) specifications, were produced for high-performance offshore and petrochemical applications. All pieces underwent rigorous dimensional, mechanical, and non-destructive testing, followed by third-party inspection from TÜV Rheinland.

“Our customer required both excellent corrosion resistance and full traceability,” said  by our client Jina, “and the F53 Super Duplex material, along with TUV verification, gives them full confidence in performance under harsh operating conditions.”

Benefits of ASTM A182 F53 (UNS S32750) Flanges

1. Excellent Corrosion Resistance
  • Outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC).

  • Performs exceptionally well in chloride-rich and aggressive chemical environments.

  • Complies with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service.

2. High Strength
  • Yield strength is twice that of austenitic stainless steels (e.g., 316L or 304L).

  • Allows for thinner wall thickness, reducing flange and system weight without compromising performance.

3. Excellent Toughness
  • Maintains impact toughness even at sub-zero temperatures (e.g., down to -46°C).

  • Suitable for cryogenic and arctic applications.

4. Superior Mechanical Performance
  • High tensile and yield strength (≥750 MPa / ≥550 MPa).

  • Excellent fatigue and erosion resistance, ideal for high-pressure systems and flow turbulence zones.

5. Cost Efficiency in Long-Term Use
  • Though initial cost is higher than standard stainless steel, lower maintenance, longer service life, and fewer replacements make F53 more economical over time.

  • Reduced downtime and repairs in corrosive systems.
