UNS S32750 is a super duplex stainless steel known for its exceptional strength and outstanding corrosion resistance. This alloy is ideal for manufacturing stud bolts used in harsh environments such as marine applications, chemical processing, and the oil and gas industry.
Duplex 2507 Stud Bolts/UNS S32750 stud bolts has oxidation resistance to 1150 Degree C, excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, strength and toughness at sub-zero temperatures. Super Duplex Steel 2507 Stud Bolts are austenitic, resulting in relatively high creep strength values. UNS S32750 Stud Bolts is often used at cryogenic temperatures, with excellent toughness to -450 Degree F, and low magnetic permeability. UNS S32760 Stud Bolts is non-magnetic in the annealed and cold worked conditions and is also resistant to corrosion.
Supplied in the annealed condition, UNS S32750 achieves yield strengths of 80ksi (550Mpa), greater than most austenitic and duplex stainless steel grades. It cannot be hardened by heat treatment but can be strengthened by cold working. It also exhibits a low coefficient of thermal expansion and higher heat conductivity than austenitic steels and is suitable for working temperatures up to 300°C. UNS S32750 is listed in NACE MR 0175 for sour service and having gained ASME Approval for Pressure Vessel applications it can be used in a wide variety of applications.
