A358 TP347  stainless steel pipe is a high carbon austenitic stainless steel pipe, with an excellent heat-resistance material which is applied to boiler, heat exchanger, car and aircraft exhaust, chemical equipment etc. As a higher grade from AISI 321H, the intergranular corrosion of 347H is achieved through the use of niobium (Nb) as a stabilizing element to maximize this feature.  SS 347 has a good mechanical properties welding performance, excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion .

TP347 S34709  stainless steel are austenitic stainless steels that contain stabilizing elements. This alloys is easily welded. Annealing may not be required after welding unless stress relief is desired. 347 stainless steel has excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. With high creep strength, 347 stainless steel work best up to 1600 °F. The addition columbium plus tantalum in 347 stainless steel give some desired characteristic.

ASTM A358 Stainless Steel EFW Pipes specification covers electric-fusion-welded austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel pipe suitable for corrosive or high-temperature service, or both, or for general applications.
This specification covers the grades of alloy and stainless steel listed in Table 1. The selection of the proper grade and requirements for heat treatment shall be at the discretion of the purchaser, dependent on the service conditions to be encountered.
