Aluminum EN AW 6082 T6 Angle bar,Alum 6082 Angle Bar
We are Aluminum EN AW 6082 T6 Angle bar manufacturer and exporter in China
We carry stock Maringe grade DNV LR CCS BV Certified Marine Extrusions in Aluminium Alloy 6082T6 Angle bar
Aluminium Angle bar 6082 T6 is an angle shaped 6082 Aluminium Alloy. This alloy is in the wrought aluminium-magnesium-silicon family (6000 or 6xxx series). It is one of the more popular alloys in its series.
Aluminum angle bars are formed in an equilateral 90-degree angle or a scalene L-shaped angle.
We called them Equal Angle bar or unequal Angle bar,Normally Aluminum Angle bar are produced by extrsion process.
Aluminum Angle Bars are available in a wide variety of shapes. Aluminum alloy has lightweight, excellent electrical conductivity, and high corrosion resistance, which makes it a good material for applications in automotive, aerospace, and construction equipment.
6082 Aluminium Alloy is typically formed by extrusion and rolling, but as a wrought alloy it is not used in casting. It can also be forged and clad, but that is not common practice with this alloy. It cannot be work hardened, but is commonly heat treated to produce tempers with a higher strength but lower ductility.
6082 T6 is a full structural alloy, and is the recommended alloy for structural purposes. Good strength and general corrosion resistance. Good weldability.6082 offers good machinability with excellent corrosion resistance. The alloy is used in structural applications and is preferred to 6061.
It can be used for making vehicle body structures, frames, suspension components, providing sufficient strength and durability. Shipbuilding.
Aluminium 6082 is a medium strength alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. It has the highest strength of 6000 series alloys. Alloy 6082 is known as a structural alloy. In plate form, 6082 is the alloy most commonly used for machining. As a relatively new alloy, the higher strength of 6082 has seen it replace 6061 in many applications. The addition of a large amount of manganese controls the grain structure which in turn results in a stronger alloy. It is difficult to produce thin walled, complicated extrusion shapes in alloy 6082. The extruded surface finish is not as smooth as other similar strength alloys in the 6000 series. In the T6 and T651 temper, 6082 machines well and produces tight coils of swarf when chip breakers are used.
