What is a backing ring?

A backing ring is a drilled, flat collar which is used to bolt a flange to another flange. The ring may be made from various metallic materials, but the dimensions of the drilling of the ring, unless a custom made one, should conform to set flange tables.

We can supply the backing ring flanges drilling according to EN 1092-1 PN6, PN10 and PN16, AS 4087 ,AS 2129  and inch (imperial) BS10 Table D/E and ASA150 (ANSI).
