Alloy steel refers to chrome moly alloy steel
Chromium molybdenum steel – often shortened to chrome moly – is a type of low alloy steel used in various industries and applications. And as the name suggests, the two main alloying elements are chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo). These alloys are typically sorted into one main group, with names such as chrome moly, croalloy, chromalloy, and CrMo often used [1]. Industries where the alloy is common include construction, oil and gas, energy, and automotive.
we can supply chrome moly alloy flanges in arrange of alloy grades, sizes and pressure classification. From custom flange face configurations to critical wall pressure ratings, our team can meet your needs.

Stainless Steel Flange: ASTM A182
ASTM A182 F304 F304L,F316,F316L is most used for stainless steel flange, includes weld neck flange, slip on flange, blind flange, socket weld flange and etc.
Grade 304 / 304L stainless steel has a minimum of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. The only difference between them is the carbon content. Type 304 has a maximum carbon of 0.08% .Type 304L has maximum carbon of 0.030 %.
Grade 316/316L is molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. The higher nickel and molybdenum content in this grade allows it to demonstrate better overall corrosion resistant properties than 304, especially with regard to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. In addition, Alloy 316/ 316L provides excellent elevated temperature tensile, creep and stress-rupture strengths, as well as outstanding formability and weldability. 316L is the lower carbon version of 316 and is immune from sensitization;

ASTM A182 Forged flange Certification
In addition to the certification requirements of Specification A961/A961M, test reports shall be furnished to the purchaser or his representative. 18.2 Test reports shall include certification that all requirements of this specification have been met. The specification designation included on test reports shall include year of issue and revision letter, if any.
The manufacturer shall provide the following where applicable: 18.2.1 Type heat treatment, Section 7, 18.2.2 Product analysis results, Section 8 of Specification A961/A961M,18.2.3 Tensile property results, Section 9 (Table 3), report the yield strength and ultimate strength, in ksi [MPa], elongation and reduction in area, in percent, 18.2.4 Chemical analysis results, Section 8 (Table 2), 18.2.5 Hardness results, Section 9 (Table 3, and for F23, Tables 2 and 3), 18.2.6 Grain size results, Section 10, and 18.2.7 Any supplementary testing required by the purchase order.
ASTM A182 Forged flange Product Marking
In addition to the marking requirements of Specification A961/A961M, the manufacturer’s name (see Note 3) or symbol shall be permanently marked on each forging. NOTE 3—For purposes of identification marking, the manufacturer is considered the organization that certifies the piping component was manufactured, sampled, and tested in accordance with this specification, and the results have been determined to meet the requirements of this specification.
Quenched and tempered low alloy or martensitic stainless forgings shall be stamped with the letters QT following the specification designation. Forgings repaired by welding shall be marked with the letter “W” following the Specification designation. When repair-welded austenitic stainless steel forgings have not been postweld heat treated in accordance with Table 4, the letters “WNS” shall be marked following the specification designation.
When test reports are required, the markings shall consist of the manufacturer’s symbol or name, the grade symbol, and such other markings as necessary to identify the part with the test report
