Also referred to as by its trade name UNS S32100, stainless steel grade ASTM A312 Tp321 is a titanium stabilized alloy. The SS 321 Welded Pipe produced under specification ASTM A312 has been designed to resist intergranular corrosion, especially in high temperature settings. At a temperature between 800 to 1500°F, the more conventionally used austenitic stainless steel grades are susceptible to chromium carbide precipitation.
