ASTM A403 WP304 WP304L Elbow ASME B16.9 Stainless pipe fittings Elbow Tee Reducer

We supply high quality ASTM A403 WP304 Elbow,A403 WP304L Elbow,Tee, Reducer,ASME B16.9

ASTM A403 WP304/304L Dual grade Stainless steel Pipe fittings

Grade 304 / 304L stainless steel has a minimum of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. The only difference between them is the carbon content.

ASTM A403 WP304 WP304L Elbow ASME B16.9 Stainless pipe fittings

ASTM A403

Standard Specification for Wrought Austenitic Stainless Steel Piping Fittings

This specification covers wrought stainless steel fittings for pressure piping applications.

The 304L stainless steel is an extra-low-carbon version of the 304 steel alloy. The lower carbon content of 304L minimizes harmful carbide precipitation as a result of welding. The 304L can therefore be used “aswelded”in severe corrosive environments, eliminating the need for fertifying glowing.

ASTM A403 WP304,ASTM A403 WP304L,ASTM A403 WP304H,they are very similar but only different from the carbon content in chemical composition.(ASTM A403 WP304H Pipe Fittings)

From followings technical data,we can know the difference between the 3 grades:

304L stainless steel, which is the low carbon form, and 304H stainless steel, which is the high carbon form. 304L has a maximum of 0.3% carbon and 304H has between 0.04 and 0.1% carbon which affords it a better strength at higher temperatures.
