ASTM A671 CC70 EFW Pipe A671 Gr.CC70 Welded Pipe for Low Temperature Service
We are professional manufacturer and exporter of ASTM A671 CC70 EFW Pipe A671 Gr.CC70 Welded Pipe for Low Temperature Service in China
ASTM A671 CC70 EFW pipes is made from ASTM A516 Gr 70 steel plate.
CL22 requests stress-relieving heat treatment ,and X-ray exmination on the pipes
ASTM A671 CC60 is a material grade of plain and killed carbon steel that has fine grain structure. The material is useful in low temperature and atmospheric temperature services. Multi Metals (India) is a leading manufacturer and supplier of the ASTM A671 CC60 pipes in various dimensions and shapes. The ASTM A671 Grade CC60 pipes made from pressure vessel grade plates by electric fusion welding with filler material addition.

ASTM A671 CC60 CL22 Pipes Wall Thickness | Schedule 20 to Schedule XXS (Heavier On Request) Up to 250 mm Thickness |
ASTM A671 CC60 CL22 Pipes Length | 5 to 7 Meters, 09 to 13 Meters, Single Random Length, Double Random Length And Customize Size. |
ASTM A671 is a standard specification for Electric-Fusion-Welded (EFW) steel pipe for atmospheric and lower temperatures
CC60: “CC60” is the grade designation within the ASTM A671 specification. In this case, “CC60” represents a carbon steel grade with a minimum yield strength same as ASTM A516 grade 60.
EFW.EFW stands for Electric-Fusion-Welded, which refers to the manufacturing process used to produce these pipes. EFW pipes are made by forming and welding flat steel plates into cylindrical shapes using electric fusion welding processes.
ASTM A671 CC60 EFW pipes are commonly used in various industries and applications where moderate strength and good weldability are required, and where the operating temperatures are relatively low. These pipes are suitable for use in atmospheric and lower temperature environments, such as water transmission, structural applications, and some process piping applications.
A516 Gr 60 steel plate is carbon steel for making pressure vessels, such as oil tanks. A516 Gr 60 composition consists of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, aluminum, chromium, copper, nickel, molybdenum, niobium, titanium and vanadium.
ASTM A516 Gr 60 composition:

A516 Gr 60 steel plate is normally produced in the As Rolled condition for thickness 1-1/2” and under. Normalizing is required for thickness over 1-1/2”. A516 Gr 60 steel plate has good thermal conductivity and magnetic permeability. The applications of A516 Gr 60 steel plate include calorifiers, oilfield fabrications, valves, storage tanks and condensers, etc.

Standard Specification for Electric-Fusion-Welded Steel Pipe for Atmospheric and Lower Temperatures
Abstract
This specification covers standard requirements for electric-fusion-welded steel pipe with filler metal added, for atmospheric and lower temperatures. The steel pipe shall be fabricated from a pressure vessel quality plate of several analysis and strength levels. Several grades and classes of pipe shall be provided. Grade shall designate the type of plate used while class shall designate the type of heat treatment performed during pipe manufacture. Class shall be designated as to whether the weld is radiographically examined, and as to whether the pipe is pressure tested. Steel samples shall undergo tension and transverse guided weld bend tests and conform to the specified mechanical requirements.
S1. Tension and Bend Tests
S2. Charpy V-Notch Test (As per A20/20M)
