Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with molybdenum and copper additions, providing outstanding resistance to acid corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion.

N08825 blind flanges are widely used in chemical processing, oil & gas, offshore platforms, marine systems, pollution control, and acid handling applications, where conventional stainless steel flanges cannot meet service requirements.

UNS N08825: “UNS” stands for Unified Numbering System, which is a standardized system for identifying metals and alloys. “N08825” is the designation for a specific nickel-iron-chromium alloy, known commercially as Incoloy 825.Alloy 825 is a titanium-stabilized fully austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of copper and molybdenum. It is approved for pressure vessels.

Alloy 825 (2.4858/N08825) is characterized by:

• Good resistance to chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion

Heat Treatment

UNS N08825 blind flanges are supplied in solution-annealed condition:

• Solution annealing at 940–980°C
