About Hastelloy C276
Hastelloy C276 Sheet / Plate are corrosion resistant to oxidization and stress cracking. They are also resistant to pitting. The 57% nickel content provides the material with high corrosion resistance. Roopam Steel is a leading manufacturer of the Hastelloy C276 sheets and plates.
N10276 ,Hastelloy C-276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium-tungsten alloy with excellent general corrosion resistance and good fabricability. The alloy should be considered for use in environments where resistance to hot contaminated mineral acids, organic and inorganic chloride-contaminated media, chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic, acetic anhydride, sea water and brine solutions is desired.
N10276,Hastelloy C-276 has resisted the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, making it a candidate for most chemical and petrochemical processing applications in the as-welded condition. The alloy has resisted both general and localized corrosion, including pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
N10276 ,Hastelloy C-276 is readily fabricated by welding, using methods similar to those utilized for nickel-based alloys.

ASTM B575 C276 Plate marking
Each plate, sheet, or strip shall be marked on one face with the specification number, alloy, heat number, manufacturer’s identification, and size.
The markings shall have no deleterious effect on the material or its performance and shall be sufficiently stable to withstand normal handling.
Each bundle or shipping container shall be marked with the name of the material; this specification number; alloy; the size; gross, tare, and net weight; consignor and consignee address; contract or order number; and such other information as may be defined in the contract or order.
