Alloy 22 (UNS N06022) ,Hastelloy C22 is the most versatile Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum-Tungsten alloy with controlled Iron. Due to Alloy 22’s content this alloy exhibits excellent resistance to both oxidising and reducing acid environments as well as those containing mixed acids. Alloy 22 is particularly useful for resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in acid-halide environments. Alloy 22 is used in pickling chlorination, sulphonation plants, pollution control, chemical processing, marine and nuclear fuel reprocessing.

1.2 Pipe and tube shall be supplied in the solution annealed and descaled condition. When atmosphere control is used, descaling is not necessary.

1.3 This specification is limited to tubes up to and including 3.5 in. (88.9 mm) outside diameter.

Process: Cold drawn, Cold rolled, Precision Rolled for Seamless Pipe or Tube

Finish: Annealed & pickled, bright annealing, polished

Ends: Beveled or plain end.

Packing: Suitably protected for sea-worthy delivery or as requested.
