JIS B2220 Blind Flange

JIS B2220 (JIS B 2220) is the Japanese Industrial Standard for steel pipe flanges. It covers several nominal pressure classes, including 5K, 10K, 16K, 20K, 30K, 40K and 63K.

A JIS blind flange (BL flange) is a solid flange without a center bore. It is bolted to a mating flange to close the end of a pipeline, valve or equipment connection.
