316L/FG SWG Gasket with IOR,SWG OR,R, SS316 Spiral Wound Gasket With Graphite Filler,ASME B16.20 IOR (CGI)Spiral Wound Gasket
We are the professional manufacturer and exporter of 316L/FG SWG Gasket with IOR,SWG OR,R, SS316 Spiral Wound Gasket With Graphite Filler,ASME B16.20 IOR (CGI)Spiral Wound Gasket in China.
Spiral Wound Gasket is Filler materials used are Graphite, Non asbestos material, PTFE..Inner & Outer Rings are also used as per customer specifications.
ASME B16.20 Spiral Wound Gasket, which is sophistically made by spirally winding a pre-formed metal strip and stuffing on the external periphery of metal winding mandrels. Moreover, our gaskets find extensive application in oil refineries power plants, petro chemical industries and marine fertilizer industries. Further, these spiral wound metallic gaskets are well known for its strength and brilliant performance.
Spiral Wound gasket ASME B16.20 is available in different materials in accordance to ASME B 16.20 for use in all industry flanges, including ASME/ANSI B16.5, ASME B16.47, Series A & B. Winding Materials include Stainless Steel, Inconel, Monel, Nickel, Titanium, etc
Products are manufactured in accordance with all relevant gasket standards to suit flange designations: ASME B 16.20, ASME B 16.5, BS1560, ASME B 16.47 A (B), BS EN 1092, DIN, JIS, and NF, etc. Color cord as ASME B 16.20 on request.
Spiral Wound Gasket is composed of a steel outer ring, a spiral wound sealing strip filler and a special steel inner ring. It is created by winding alternating strips of metal and filler material.
Outer guide ring is fitted to centralise the gasket between the bolts and to act as a compression limiter. Inner ring is fitted to reduce the gap between the inside diameter of the gasket and the bore of the flange.
It is widely used in moderate to critical services in various industries. They are most suitable for the gaskets subject to extreme temperature or pressure cycling, shock or vibration. These gaskets have the best resistance property when compare with other metal and asbestos type gaskets.
ASME B16.20 offers comprehensive solutions applying to materials, dimensions, tolerances and marking. It addresses gaskets that are dimensionally suitable for use with flanges described in reference flange standards ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47, API Specification 6A, and ISO 10423 as well as with other ASME standards, such as the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and the B31 Piping Codes. Notable revisions to the 2017 edition include a complete reorganization based on the different type of gaskets.
There are three components in spiral wound gasket.
- Outer Ring
- Winding Material (Filler & Metal Strip)
- Inner Ring
Spiral Wound Gasket (SWG) consists of a thin metallic strip and a soft non-metallic filler that are simultaneously wound on a rotating mandrel. The metal hoop is pre-formed with a V or W shaped profile, which allows the gasket to act as a spring between the flanges. Further, the hoop provides the basic structural element for the gasket while the non-metal filler material seals small imperfections on the flange surfaces. Depend on its excellent compression resilient, it¡¯s suitable for sealing spots where the alteration of temperature and pressure are frequent, such as pipes, valve, pumps etc. They are available in all standard the flanges of sizes, e.g. ANSI ASME, BS, JIS and EN(DIN) standards or client request. etc. (Pressure :6.4~25Mpa)
