High-solids two-component epoxy-polyamide zinc rich primer
Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer is a high solids two component epoxy-polyamide zinc rich primer. It contains 90%, by weight, of zinc in the dried film. This product is formulated to meet the corrosion requirements of MIL-PRF-32550 and MIL-DTL-53072. This product may be used with Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings (CARC).
As a primer on sandblasted steel, epoxy zinc-rich primers can be used in combination with high-performance paints to further improve corrosion resistance. Mainly used as primer for steel surface of bridges, ships, petrochemical infrastructure, containers, steel structures, etc.
Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer can be applied on the steel pipes of vairous grade such as API 5L grade B Line pipes.

API 5L Grade B pipe is a common grade pipe for oil and gas pipeline transmissions. It also called L245 Pipe refer ISO 3183, named by minimum yield strength 245 Mpa (35,500 Psi). Equivalent material ASTM A106 B or ASTM A53 B, which have similar value on chemical composition, mechanical properties, and applications.
