ASTM A312 TP310S Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe

ASTM A312 TP310S is an austenitic stainless steel grade used for high temperature service in pressure piping systems. Pipes manufactured according to ASTM A312 or ASME SA312 are widely used in industries where resistance to oxidation, corrosion and high temperature exposure is required.

TP310S stainless steel is a low-carbon version of grade 310, designed to improve weldability and reduce the risk of carbide precipitation during fabrication. The alloy contains a high percentage of chromium and nickel, which provides excellent resistance to oxidation and sulfidation in elevated temperature environments.

Heat Treatment

Typical heat treatment requirement:

Minimum temperature: 1900°F (1040°C)
Rapid cooling by water quenching or air cooling
