Aluminum 5083 Long-Radius 90° Elbow

A long-radius 90-degree aluminum elbow changes the direction of the piping system by 90 degrees while maintaining a relatively smooth flow path.

The standard long-radius centerline is generally 1.5 times the nominal pipe diameter. LR elbows are commonly selected where pressure loss, turbulence and flow disturbance need to be reduced.

Why Use Aluminum Alloy 5083?

ASME B16.9 covers overall dimensions, tolerances, ratings, testing and marking for factory-made wrought butt weld fittings from NPS 1/2 through NPS 48. It provides the dimensional framework but does not independently certify the aluminum alloy or temper.
